HURRICANE IAN
Hurricane Ian was the third-costliest weather disaster in the world on record, and the deadliest hurricane to strike the state of Florida since 1935.
DRC immediately responded to FDOT Districts 1,2 & 5 Sarasota County, Manatee County, and the Cities of Deland, Daytona Beach, Bradenton Maitland, Debary, St. Augustine, Lakeland, Fort Myers Town of Longboat Key, the State of Florida Department of Emergency Management, and Department of Environmental Protection, as well as the School Districts of Lee and Sarasota Counties.
DRC is providing debris clearance and debris removal, clearing hazardous trees and stumps, and providing waterway debris removal.
